How much does the consultation cost?
There's no fee for consultations at EconoHealth. To secure your booking, a $28 holding fee is required. If you're prescribed medication and choose to have it dispensed through our partner pharmacy, this fee will be credited toward your first order. If you choose not to proceed with treatment or to use a different pharmacy, the holding fee is retained to cover administrative costs associated with your consultation. Please note: This fee is non-refundable if the appointment is missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice.
How often will I be scheduled for follow-up appointments?
For new patients, we recommend booking a follow-up consultation about one month after your initial appointment. After that, the timing of return visits is decided between you and your doctor or nurse practitioner.
Do I need a referral to see a provider?
No referral is required to get started with EconoHealth. We ask all patients to provide a current health summary from their GP. If you're transferring from another clinic, we also kindly request a discharge letter to help ensure continuity of care.
How can I order my medication?
Medications are only prescribed when clinically appropriate by an AHPRA-registered doctor following a consultation. You can place an order by booking an 'Order Medication' appointment through the HotDoc app. Simply select a convenient time, and our patient support team will contact you to assist with finalising your order.
Who are our partner pharmacies?
You can expect your medication to be dispatched from Dukasa Dispensary: Dukasa Dispensary, 644–646 Glen Huntly Rd, Caulfield VIC 3162. Delivery or pickup available. (03) 9822 3668
How can I track my order?
Once your order has been dispatched from the pharmacy, you will receive a notification with a tracking number. You can use this number to track your delivery via StarTrack.
What if I have technical difficulties during my consultation?
We'll do our best to complete your consultation despite technical issues. If we're unable to finish the appointment, we'll reschedule it at the next available time that suits you.
When can I expect to receive my medication?
If an order is placed, you can expect delivery within 3 business days nationwide; however, in most urban areas, it may arrive within 24 to 48 hours. Delivery times are estimated and may vary depending on location.
What if I can't get a Health Summary?
If you're having trouble obtaining your Health Summary, please contact our support team at 0432 433 217. We're happy to assist and can request it on your behalf.

You can travel within Australia with your medication as long as it remains in its original packaging and you carry your prescription letter along with valid ID. For international travel, regulations vary by country, so always check the destination's requirements before you travel.

What do I do if I miss your call?
If you miss your appointment call, please contact us as soon as possible by calling 0432 433 217, emailing info@econohealth.com.au, or through HotDoc. We'll do our best to reschedule your consultation at the next earliest availability. Please note: We require at least 24 hours' notice for any appointment changes. If you miss your appointment or cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, the $28 holding fee will not be refunded or credited to your account.
Can I drive on my medication?
Some medications may affect your ability to drive or operate machinery. Please discuss any concerns about driving with your doctor or nurse practitioner before starting treatment. If you have questions, you can contact our team at 0432 433 217 for support.

How do I book a consultation?
Simply fill out a short form with your contact details and preferred call time. Our support team will contact you to explain the process, complete your registration, and request a health summary from your GP. Once onboarded, you'll be scheduled for a complimentary nurse screening to get started.
How can I reschedule or cancel my doctor consultation?
If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. You can make changes by calling us on 0432 433 217 or emailing info@econohealth.com.au. If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, the $28 holding fee will not be credited to your account, and you will be required to pay a new $28 to rebook.
